Clouds and skies

The weather in the UK can change at any time of day or night, and with that comes clouds, lots of clouds, and not just the boring plain grey ones.

Landscape photography isn't just about the beginning and end of the day.  Compositions should be spontaneous, dictated by the subject and light.  That is how the weather works.....it is spontaneous and unpredictable, and it can create unique photographic opportunities at any time of day if the photographer is prepared to unplug occasionally from the traditional.

It's not so much about only photographing the spectacular, but accepting what nature has delivered at any one time and creating a composition that captures that moment according to the photographers interpretation.

It is great to witness a summer storm in the middle of the day for taking original and creative photography.

    Limited Edition Prints
    Highest quality photographic prints and beautiful presentation provide an appropriate technical and aesthetic quality for my photographs. 

    As well as this all my prints of a certain size are Limited Editions which means when I print a set number,  no more will ever be printed or sold. 

    All my prints are personally signed and all limited editions are numbered.  Every print is provided with a signed certificate containing edition information where appropriate and personal details about the actual photograph.


     Commissions
    If you have a specific requirement for a print, such as a favourite location, or a special birthday gift, then I have a number of options for commissioned work.  Please see my commissions page for more information.

    Four print and mounting options are available for all my photographs.


    Traditional paper print mounted onto a single mount of conservation quality chalk white mountboard.  (Delivered unframed)


    Stunning glossy high definition and brilliant colour.  This sleek and modern presentation of a photograph will look stunning in offices and home interiors.


    An alternative to Canvas printing, this is a matte finish artists paper bonded to a 12 mm Block mount.  With no visible wall fixings it provides a sleek minimalist look.


    Eco-solvent inks onto canvas, providing vibrant long lasting colours. Professionally stretched across gallery standard stretcher bars.
