Clouds and skies
The weather in the UK can change at any time of day or night, and
with that comes clouds, lots of clouds, and not just the boring
plain grey ones.
Landscape photography isn't just about the beginning and end of the
day. Compositions should be spontaneous, dictated by the
subject and light. That is how the weather works.....it is
spontaneous and unpredictable, and it can create unique photographic
opportunities at any time of day if the photographer is prepared to
unplug occasionally from the traditional.
It's not so much about only photographing the spectacular, but
accepting what nature has delivered at any one time and creating a
composition that captures that moment according to the photographers
interpretation.
It is great to witness a summer storm in the middle of the day for
taking original and creative photography.
