I was minding my own business taking a photograph of something or other, when the sheep in this photo (unknown to me) stood behind me – silently – and let rip a really loud ‘baaaah’! Which made me jump out of my skin! When I turned round this photograph is what I saw…just a sheep staring at me. But it was a photo opportunity, and maybe that is what it wanted…who knows!?
Wow – what a great image. It really looks like the sheep wanted to have its picture taken! I love the warm light in your image a lot, the sheep couldn’t have chosen a better spot. Great work!
love the vivid colours and the elegant compo! that sheep is a pro … look at that pose !!!
Maybe the sheep wanted just that – you to click a picture. I guess the sheep needed a new profile pic on Facebook
I like the composition
Wonderful capture – a proud animal surveying its domain.
A terrific shot of that very curious fellow.
I love the light and colour. You’re centre positioning is really effective too.
Fantastic shot, great compo and a cute/nice intro.
A wonderful wildlife shot, Tony, and the setting couldn’t be prettier.
Ha ha great story – the sheep obviously has good taste to draw your attention to this opportune photo shoot
Hhaahah… perhaps she wanted her photo taken. or maybe was looking for a sandwich or something? Up on Mam Tor, they do mug the walkers for whatever they can get.
Good to make your acquaintance, Tony – I will enjoy looking at your pictures if they are anything like this
Excellent wildlife shot. The sky is beautiful and the horizon artfully placed, But most impressive is a photo of a grazer doing something other than eating grass… Unless you were wearing green and he thought you were a huge salad!
Ha ha! I think I was wearing red!! Maybe he has a species personality disorder, and thinks he’s a bull!?
A cute story line to go along with this great capture! This sheep is peering right through your lens.
Beautiful range of colors and I love those contrails.
Thanks Steven. Yes, a bit embarrassing to be scared by the sheep! It stood its ground though when I turned around!
