This website was originally set up to show off some of my travel photos, so that people that I know could see where I was and what I was doing in various places around the world.

Now though my intention is to explain in blog posts, articles and ebooks how I make my photography so that it can be used as a resource for other photographers both new and experienced.

That takes a lot of time and effort, as well as having to pay for a hosting site. So as bandwidth goes up, it would be nice if some of the expense could be recouped in some way. That is where advertising and affiliates come in.

I now run some advertising on the site in the form of Google Adsense, and I am signed up to some affiliate organisations.

Adsense ads are all marked ‘advertising’ so that you can differentiate an ad from an article.

Affiliate links and banners are links and banners that link to another business (like Amazon). When someone clicks on a link I may make a small commission on anything that person may buy at that website.

I only provide links to businesses that I have been a customer of in the past, and would buy from again. They are also all relevant to my photography and how I create my photography.
