BOATS AND HARBOURS
Harbours provide a great photographic opportunity. They are crammed with objects from pristine boats to rusty old anchors. They contain the old, the new and the abandoned, and they tell the history of their town or village through the objects that they contain.
At dawn or dusk it is almost impossible to take a bad photograph. But don’t forget other times of the day when a composition may work best in diffused white light in the afternoon on a cloudy day. Wander around at all times of day, follow your instincts, be creative, be original and experiment.
