Something a bit warmer than yesterday I think!

I love the drama of the cliffs at Beachy Head in East Sussex, just outside of Eastbourne. What I like about this is that the couple taking their picture, can’t see the drama of their own precarious position near the edge of the cliff. When you are near the edge it is very difficult to realise how dramatic it looks from a distance.

I have ignored this image for a while because I took so many at the time. The couple taking their picture have little impact on the composition at thumbnail level, but become much more important as the image is enlarged, and coming back to this after a few months has allowed me to see it with fresh eyes….so thought I’d post it today!

  • beautiful view, great framing! I like a lot – a bit like France with cliffs of Boulogne

  • I love this shot. The couple are so well placed, and would work in any colour clothing, but that red and white outfit is perfect with the lighthouse.
