Another two photos that are better posted together…and, erm…it’s been a while since I last posted I know, but that’s how it goes sometimes! Anyway, onwards we go….these photos are taken at Chesil beach in Dorset in England. The left hand picture shows an old rusty boat along a muddy bit of coastline that is connected to the mainland, the water to the right of the boat is a lagoon, separated from the sea by Chesil beach. The right hand photo is from the top of the isle of Portland looking west along Chesil beach giving a birds eye view of the sea on the left, Chesil beach (separated for no known reason from the mainland), the lagoon and then the bright lights of Fortuneswell twinkling in the fading dusk light.

  • Love this picture. Love the wetness, the decay, the smell of the sea that is surely in it. Beautiful

  • stunning aerial view. love the exposure for the boat image

  • Both of these are magnificent, Tony!
I especially love the old boat.
Such wonderful character you have captured in it.
