Forest in springtime

Now that all the leaves are green (not brown!), very green, it’s a nice time to take photos of trees before the leaves mature and lose the translucent look. The colours are that very vibrant green before the leaves mature into a darker, thicker colour…

The image itself is a multiple image stiched in photoshop, so it’s a very high resolution image. I did that mostly because I wanted this particular composition which didn’t fit into a standard rectangle shape, and I wanted to crop out the sky above the green trees. With a multiple image photo I can be a bit ‘looser’ with the composition which allows me to ‘fine crop’ in Photoshop without losing resolution, whilst allowing me to create exactly what I saw with my minds eye at the time of capture.
