This is Kinder Plateau, to the right and below and out of view is Kinder Reservoir and the village of Hayfield beyond that. I am on the Pennine Way in the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire, England.
I am looking across a valley to the hills on the other side. I like all the dents and grooves that you can see on the surface of the land. Some of those are pathways made by animals and humans today….but some may be man made from hundreds of years ago, or even longer.
